i think theres something wrong with my car
ok so it started happening 2-3 weeks ago. when my car downshifts automatically (i have an auto obviously) it takes like 2 seconds to get into gear and while its switching gears, my RPM goes up and then when it gets into gear my car like... JUMPS i guess. this never happened before at least i never noticed it. i try not to not let it downshift but theres only so much you could do. do you think its my car or is it normal? i mean its SO noticable everytime the car downshifts.
i'll give you an example: i'll be driving at 40 mph and then i see a red light so i slow down and when i hit like 25 mphish it'll downshift to 3rd gear, then lets say the light turns green, i'll hit the gas and then my car would jump (still in 3rd) but when it goes to 4th its normal. (imagine neutral bombing the car at like 1.5k rpms, you'll feel a jump) do you think my exhaust could have caused this? i know nothing about cars so... if that was a noob question dont yell at me.

Fluids ?!
Have you checked the transmission fluid? Read the manual on the proper technique.
If that is OK, then it is probably the internal clutching that is "burned" or "glazed" from something. It happens. Get thee to thy dealer whilst it yet runneth at all.
