Hello people ,
few weeks ago I posted about my car and that I bought a JDM engine for it .

everything is set , but the ECU that came with the engine won't get accepted by the immobilizer unit.

and some one stole my old ECU when I was working on it ... " WTH PEOPLE !"


anyway, I took the ecu to few people who program cars here, non was able to get the car out of that immobilization state
and the dealer is no use here, as they never get any rx8s, "there is less than 8 rx8s around here, and all imported by individuals "


I tried to look for some immobalizer unit on ebay , with the ecu, and the keys , but so far all for the manual cars.

You need an ecu to match your car...and the "as built" data.....and an iDS programmer. Likely a dealer....Mazda or Ford use same unit....Then you need someone that had a clue to reprogram. Your other options are an ECU and security module and keys that match
