How better crancks the new starting motor?
We have seen recently on some posts that some members have had their starting motors replaced. This change comes also with a new more powerful battery .
Now, the point is, can anyone explain how better/different is this new device.
Any videos or sound files to compare?
Thank you

The new starter motor is brilliant. A sort of ~1 second high pitched whirrrrr and then the engine rumbles on. Never heard a starter motor like it in any car before. The battery I received was a 600 CCA 115 RC model. This is in light truck cranking amp range. Very powerful for a car ...

New engine, starter, battery and plugs
Mazda is shipping a new engine, putting in larger battery, starter and replacing plugs (second time in two weeks). Hoping upon hope that this works. Never had a problem until 18,000 miles. They say they are having a geat deal of trouble in Arizona and Nevada with the high temps.

Which year does this apply to? I have a 05` and the starter has always seemed to crank the car slower than what I considered normal.... but haven't had any start problems as a result. It just sounds like it spins a lot slower than my 93` RX-7 does.
