Horrible suspension/steering noise out of the blue
2004 GT 6MT
79000 Miles (original motor.. yay!)
Cobb AP - MM Tune
Mazdaspeed Intake
Mazdaspeed Catback
BHR Midpipe (hi RIWWP, yes I'm still using it!)
BHR Ignition
I don't come on here much anymore as I usually can figure out and fix things quickly myself but since I can't get under the car until tomorrow, I figured I'd post these up for possible suggestions.
Left a friends house last night and went to turn the wheel to pull away from the curb and heard this horrible noise. Same thing when I turn the wheel the other way.
In fact, variations of this noise happen and I accelerate from a stop, brake and go over bumps.
You can very faintly "feel" (might just be in my head) the noises through the steering wheel but based on when the issue happens (accel/brake/bumps), I don't think the issue is originating in the steering system. Possibly the anti-roll bar? (stock) Endlinks? The endlinks are very old and in need of replacing. I know from past inspection that the rubber boots on the joints of them are in really bad shape.
Anyway.. I'm going to get looking into this in detail tomorrow but if you have any thoughts it would be very helpful. Thanks!

Had this happen to a friends 8
He was going sideways (don't ask) and had the front right tire hit a small curb at a hard angle.
The bottom of the control arm snaped just like in the picture above, along with a bent strut and wheel
