Hey everyone,

I just became a new rx8 owner and i noticed a high pitch squeak coming from the airbox or something intake related. I cannot duplicate it when it is neutral. Its in every gear around 2000-2500 rpm on about a 2-3 mph acceleration. I thought it was a stock airbox noise so i put a K&N typhoon intake system on it and it got louder. I still cant pin point the noise and i looked for TSB's and alot of forums. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue or knew where it is coming from and how to fix it. Open to suggestions.

its like a whistling noise coming from the intake area, i cant find any leaks or anything

 

Check MAF sensor o-ring
