Hesitation and Dying when car is warm.

Hi. I am having problems with my car hesitating when driving and dying when coming to a stop.

It only happens when the car has been driven hard on the highway. It was doing this about a month ago and then ran fine for the last month. Now it's doing it again.

So when I first start it it runs just fine. I get out on the highway and drive and after sometime it starts to hesitate and doesn't want to pull much at all especially at lower RPMS. If I come to a stop or put it in neutral and let of the gas once the hesitation has been noticed, it wants to shudder out and die. I had this happen today at work. It didn't even want to restart when it died in our parking garage. After about 5 attempts I got it restarted and immediately parked it. After work, it starts right up and I drove it home with no problem whatsoever. After I have these incidents and I turn the car off for a while, it starts up just fine and drives fine. It's an intermittent problem.

New cat, new ignition coils, new plugs, and new wires. No codes at all. No CEL flashing or solid. What do you guys think??? Fuel problem?? Any ideas?? Think it might be the fuel pump??

Also, I have been noticing a ratting or squealing type of sound when I am giving it gas. It almost sounds like a belt squealing but it's much quieter and more metallic sound. It's most noticeable when I am accelerating from a stop.

wow, first thing that comes to my mind would be the cat, since it gets warm its probably clogged. drive it hard for awhile then look under and check if its glowing. lets hope your little renny isnt giving out. Do so and report back

edit. just read the last part over, sounds like your cat is giving out.

The cat is brand new, so that's not it.

You could try to premix a bit heavy (1:200) and see if that help. From experience this helps for hot starts if you have low compression engine. I believe this reduces temps on seals + oil remains gives some sealing as well. But thats just my loose theory....

Could be a fuel pressure related issue, or it could be a low compression issue.
Have you ever had the engine compression tested?

Also, might even be something like the SSV getting sticky.

BC.
