Power steering getting hard

any help advice please thanks all

 

Is it as though the power steering is not working at all,or is it intermittent . Their is an electrical connection for the power steering mounted on the chassis accessible under the battery tray, sometimes it gets water in it or is contaminated by crap, usually separating this connection, cleaning it well, give it a squirt with WD40, and it "should" be OK.

 

Weld the connettors if you can, simply cleaning them may not be a long term solution
A search should help, it's a well known argument!

And yes, sometimes just cleaning the connectors doesn't work and some have cut the connectors out and hardwired together.

 

can some one show me pictures of where to start as i don't understand the picture above the yellow car . sorry if i sound a bit dim

ps: my car is the right hand drive

PS; i did the job very easy to do , but don't seem any better maybe i have to weld them together or get some heavy duty electrical connectors /!! what you think
