HELP!! My 8 desperately needs attention asap!!!

Hi been a while since I posted but feels good to be back! I recently bought a 57plate (2007) RX-8 and today i took off HARD (dsc off) at 6k got the whole wheelspin effect and felt cool ) BUT straight after! My engine noise inside the cabin sounded extremely loud and the wheels felt like almost as if something was rubbing. So i slowed right down and cruised along to my destination. When i got there i had a look and nothing was making any contact with any of the wheels everything looked fine. Got her home jacked the car up and again nothing visibly wrong. But there definitely is something wrong somewhere! The car sounds normal from the outside but when sitting inside the engine is SO LOUD, the vibration levels have gone through the roof also! I can hear windows vibrating the lot! Now, when i turn left i can feel and hear a metal grinding scraping noise coming from the front left wheel area and the sound also comes through the steering wheel (i can feel it too).. Sounds like the front left (passengers side) wheel/suspension is f@#*ed.. If i sit in neutral and rev the car it vibrates like hell and the engine noise is alot louder! The cars engine sounds completely normal from the outside! The car use to continuesly knock from the front left wheel area when going over bumps in the road etc but now thats gone and instead if reallyy bumpy the scraping metal noise is there and the car pulls to left quite badly. Under hard braking this metally noise/feeling also occurs. Turning right is uneffected!
This only happened this afternoon. Some one please help i would like to know the issue before putting the car into a garage and them lying to me and charging extreme amounts for something potentially not as bad.

Thanks!!

Sounds like an engine mount problem with all that vibration. It could be that one of your engine mounts has collapsed. Not too sure about pulling to one side while driving that may be a suspension/alignment issue.
