Catted TurboXS Midpipe Install - Won't Bolt In Straight

Purchased a used TurboXS midpipe recently to solve an exhaust leak I was having with my old, aftermarket replacement cat (which is now nonexistent, apparently) and I'm having an issue.

The pipe is bolted in, but I had to remove the muffler from the hangars (I have the base 04 exhaust, the giant canister) to get it in - the midpipe would not bolt in to the header or the catback without tilting the muffler up at the driver's side. The way it sits currently, the passenger side pipe is way higher than the driver side - almost touching the bumper on both sides.

Is this a design flaw or have I done something wrong? A friend and I spent hours on this yesterday, only to have a massive exhaust leak at the header - granted, we had to switch the spring bolts at the back to the header flange to get it to work. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

The car is up in the air, I can post pictures if necessary in a bit.

The TurboXS midpipe won't work with anything but the TurboXS exhaust.

I mean any exhaust shop should be able to make it work. But that would be less than ideal.

TurboXS exhaust sounds good anyway. I'll just have to purchase the catback.

The turboXS catback with the TurboXS midepipe is insanely loud. I have the The TurboXS but I have the BHR midpipe and I am turbo (quiets the exhaust).
