Help with factory Sirius unit!

Hello all,

I have a 2005 RX-8 Shinka that has a 6-disc changer with the Sirius factory unit installed. However, when i hit the SAT button to go to it, the message "CALL 866-***-SIRI" comes up, so I call said number. When I call them I get the radio set up and activated, however, the same message still pops up. I can do nothing with my Sirius except watch "CALL 866-***-SIRI" go across the display and view the ESN number.

With this being said, is it possible that a connection on the unit itself could be loose or bad? I need to know where the unit is located in order to check it.

This is extremely frustrating, so someone please HELP!

The unit is in the trunk on the left side behind the linear.
But I would call Sirius about it first...

+1 Exactly. Its a black box approximately 5" x 8" x 1.5"
