Alright so i bought a used rx8 04 m/t 30k miles. so its starts cutting out a coulple weeks ago and hesitating slowly got worse so i decide maybe the plugs are bad so i just replaced them today and it still hesitates and wont go past about 6k rpm and is luggish at all rpm and any gear. Only thing i can think of is fuel filter??? it idles fine and accelerates alright until you start getting into it at all. any help anyone?? and where is the fuel filter under the body or in gas tank??

 

been reading some things. maybe its my cat plugged? power loss everygear srtarted around 7k and now dropped to about 5k. so i suppose i need to take it to the dealer huh? nothing i can do?

 

Just take it to the dealer, you're still under warrenty

 

Does sound like a plugged cat.

There is no other fuel filter, just the sock in the tank.
