Hey everyone, hope you guys can help. I drove my 07 6MT GT home on Saturday, and it ran perfectly. It sat all day Sunday, then Monday on my drive to work continuing to now it seems low on power, lugging and bogging down considerably in the 3000-5000 range then feeling mostly normal from 6000 to redline. It's gotten progressively worse, and it's having difficulty starting too, taking about 3-5 seconds of cranking. The exhaust sounds kind of strained and gurgly, but there's no "marbles in a can" sound and no CEL either. Any ideas?

 

when is the last time you changed plugs/coils? Have you had your cat checked?

Rootski its most likely coils but could also be an obstruction in the exhaust- like a failing/blocked cat.

 

Thanks guys. I bought this one used not too long ago, so I haven't checked the coils yet, never had it in for the cat. I did scrape the cat the other day, maybe that knocked it loose.
