Heavy steering at low speeds

Just purchased our first RX8 today, the steering is extremely heavy when parking or moving slowly. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

no difference between engine on and off?

sports cars all have heavy steering for extra grip feed back to the driver.

Id say when engines is off, no way you can turn the steering wheel easily unless you have arms like legs.

is there a EPS light?
best way is to test drive another one see if its the same.

Do you find your steering heavy at low speeds, I was wondering if the steering fluid maybe low?

Yea...I would def. start talking to some locals and seeing if you could drive their car or have them drive yours. Like said earlier sports cars do require some extra input at slower speeds. Does your input differ from right to left or is it just as hard to turn in either direction?

Also, just out of curiosity, if you are driving at a constant speed on a flat surface does your car pull to one side or another? Does the amount of pull vary with speed?
