Heater problem, AC too
I've had an issue with my heater and AC for a while now and wanted to get a little input before taking it in.
My heater only works on the passenger side. The driver side blows cold air. The AC, in the summer, blows cold air on both sides but on the driver side it blows very low. I called Mazda and they said they have to take out and send the heater/AC control unit to be rebuilt, and that they don't sell them new. Cost, about $650.
Has anyone else had this issue?

theres more than one thread on this issue. most likely a blocked heater core. its easy to flush after you remove the washer resivor. let flush/clr soke in the heater core for a while. it might be a good time for a coolant flush also
