I've had my 06' 8 for about a year now bought it with 48,000 on it now has 58,000. Done the oil changes. The car will take about 5 seconds or so to start up cold or hot (I can say for sure the time as I am in washington the car in Georgia at the moment, just another month till i get back to it). I am hoping its not a compression issue as its a hard start cold or hot. I am going to replace the coils, plugs, and wires when i get back to it, but what else could be causin the hard start problem?

 

Low compression, weak battery, weak starter, spark plugs and coils.
