So my girlfriend managed to drive my 04 a/t 4 port over the cement barrier blocks in a parking lot.... not my a/c is completely shot only hot air will come out. Ilooked at the radiator fan and it wasnt spinning could this have anything to do with it and what else should i be looking for? I work 6 days a week 12 hr days sunday is my day off and i am hoping to fix it just need some ideas of where to look first. The car isnt leaking anything nor is it over heating i noticed that the fan would always turn on after i shut the car off and it no longer does that as well any help woulkd be greatly apreciated.

 

Pics will help because the only way to tell what is broken is to be looking at it. Get many good pictures of the affected areas.

 

Simple Solution: get a new girlfriend. Unfortunatly you're going to have to get into it to find out the extent of the damage. Just from what you described you need to check the condenser and all the piping and fitings associated with it. Expect replacing the condenser if it is cracked and recharge your A/C system. Also, check the condidtion of the radiator to see if it is holding fluid. You may want to check the wiring to see if anything was severed for some reason. Not sure why the fan isn't kicking of though.

 

i am at work right now but when i looked at the car everything looked fine there was no body damage done and nothing looked to be leaking but i guess i am going to try and take it all apart on sunday and see what i can do

yeah i noticed that at high load in any gear that if i continue to push it the low coolant light turns on until i switch into a higher gear not sure if that helps?

 

Any sugestions on where to get a radiator and condenser kinda broke so the cheaper the better lol

 

ebay for the condensor. that is where I got mine.
