Flooded Again(7th time)

Man this is getting so old. I bought my rx8 in Oct 03. Since then it has flooded 7x.
Each time I've had to have it flatbedded in. They have done everything including new starter, battery, flashes etc. They even shipped my sparkplugs to Mazda/Japan to have engineers look into it. The latest was this morning. I had my rx8 sitting in my garage for the past 5 days as it has been too snowy to drive. Went to start it this morning and of course, it's flooded. Only 1 time out of 7x has it been when I did a "short" drive. I now have 50k on my 8.
Can anyone beat 7x flooding in 2 years?
The service mgr told me this morning that of all the rx8's he's sold mine is the only one that keeps coming in with this issue(except for some on their lot that get moved short distances and then flood)

Avwoody,
Can you post a picture of your documentation from your dealer showing what was supposedly changed? How many of these things were done simultaneously? If you have had a weak battery in the past for example, being compounded by short operation in relatively cold conditions (Car seldom achieving full operating temps) and they put in plugs and reflashed it but didn't resolve the less than optimum battery state you would be set up for problems again. Obviously your case sounds a little unusual. It would be interesting to see what rating the battery is that they installed and whether it is properly charged. I would have the dealer do a compression test and ensure that low compression is not partly the culprit.
Paul.

When you shut off the car, rev engine to 3k, hold it there, turn the key off. I'll bet you aren't doing that.

Avwoody,
Where are you? Are you really someone with a legit problem or is this a joke? Doesn't sound right for your first post.

Sounds like bad news but if your service manager is telling you your car is the only one that keeps coming back, tell him to make sure he fixes it the first time correctly or give you a new Renesis.

why do you think its flooded after sitting for 5 days without starting it? it didnt start but that doesnt mean it did not because it was flooded. probably a weak or undercharged battery. cranking and cranking and cranking on a weak battery could cause flooding but flooding isnt the root cause of the no start. where are you located so we have an idea of the temp? is the garage heated? what is that temp? how far do you hold the pedal down when you try to crank it? do you have a battery charger? does your car have ANY mods? audio system? under car lights? grounding kit?

It doesn't sound like it's flooding. Flooding occurs when the engine is in choke mode and you turn it off with out it clearing out all the unburnt gas. The unburnt gas then seeps into the spark plug insulation over a little bit of time, destroying it. Have you had the compression checked?
