MD Fixed radiator now battery wont stay charged...

Tube on top of radiator broke, so I 'Fixed it'. I took everything out that led to me getting the radiator out... plus the assumed ecu? on the left side under the hood... Which I now realize that I didn't need to take out. I put everything back in and had to jump the car because battery had a small charge but couldnt turn over, couldnt bump start it either which was strange... Drove it back to my place, besides the fact that it looks like one of the radiator hoses is not tight enough and leaking... the battery wont stay charged... not sure why, could it be a result of me taking out that one control unit box? I didn't run it for the past week as I was way to busy with studying... (life of an engineering student I guess) I would really appreciate any help as I don't have enough time to figure it out myself...

An engineering student without The Knack?
