a few issues

i havent been on here in a while but my friends having som trouble with his rx8 and its nothing ive seen with mine so i figured id ask you guys. Heres what he said:

"I gotta 04 Rx8 and it auto with the tip-tronic and when i hit about 4500 5000 rpm theres like a popping sound, it kind of sound like a hand full of bottle caps jumping around.
Also when i went to turn the car on 1 day nothing turned on, not even my radio and windows worked. When i turned the key nothing wrked then about 5 seconds later the rpms, gas and temp jumped and went back down.
Have you herd of any of this??"

Anybody got any suggestions??

Could need a tune up or you may need to check your cat.

Check your battery connections. If orginal battery replace it.

Have your friend post his problem here.

Hearsay is
