F Me this car sucks (or my starter's shot)

My 2004 M6 GT only has 34000mi and today I had to whack the starter with a tool to get it to respond. I checked with the dealer, their price: $335.00 plus labor.
My question is; has anybody just bought the parts store reman? Oreilly's has it for $99.99 with a lifetime warranty.
PS. my problem started the day after I replaced the interstate battery. I did not cross-wire, or blow any fuses and it started fine 3 times before this incident.

You know there is a TSB for the starter on that year of RX8
If you haven't done so already I would get the knew updated starter. Cranks faster.
Go in a complain that the car isn't starting when hot.
