The problem was the coil(s), according to the dealership. They replaced the coils and plugs. Mazda will cover the expense even though I'm out of warranty, they just asked if I would pay a $100 deductible. I'm so glad it wasn't the engine!

Drove the car 20 miles, running very well. Idle is so much smoother, wonder if that is the premix....

i didnt kno it was covered under emission warranty/ I just bought a Borla exhaust today, should b getting it in a week or so
there goes my $900
