exhaust fumes in cockpit
hi guys . . . any one had exhaust fumes entering the cockpit of the car. If so did you find out why and could it be a sign the cat is on it's way out.

I had one of the little rubber flaps in the trunk go bad, fumes and in the winter salty misting (the salt stains is how I found it). They are right behind the rear wheels on the side. Check that, I made a new one out of rubber in 5 mins, no probs now.
->I run catless and premix, I smell that smell

to OP,
i have had an sulfuric exhaust fume entering cabin, and its from yhe exhaust...namely the catalytic converter.
its awful in the morning, and it enters into the cabin on hard accelerations. its pungent enough to you uncomfortable and make your eye water.
you can try complaining at the dealership... as i have before with no success.
switched out for a high flow cat. fixed.
