Everyone's favorite, clutch pedal issues
Before I get flamed, I did search and I did find plenty of helpful things, but I'm posting this to get some answers and feedback to information I didn't find.
Here we go, when I bought my 8 the clutch pedal was squeaky and moved side to side, and also felt a little soft. I bought the RR bracket and installed even though when I inspected the pedal assy I didn't see any damage. Anyway, after the reinforcement bracket was installed, nothing really changed. Still moves side to side, still soft, and it just doesn't feel right.
Also I noticed yesterday and one time before that, that when I drive it... Spirited, and I shift fast from 2-3 for example, the pedal sticks to the floor and then comes and slaps me in the bottom of my foot. It doesnt stick and stay, it only does it for a split second before coming back up and hitting me on the foot. Again, this has only happened when shifting way high in the rpm range.
My plan is to get a brand new, revised pedal assy and transfer the RR bracket onto it. Would this be enough, or would my master/slave cylinders also be toast?
It's an '04 6spd with 146k miles. Brand new clutch and lightweight flywheel.

When mine did that this winter it was because I had air. I bled it and nothing, then took it to mazda and they bled it and it was all good. I think they might know something we don't!
