Engine stalls and takes awhile to start
It's happened twice now and I have replaced the coils and plug will be tommorow I changed coils yesterday and it stalled out today and took about 2 minutes to start and then ran fine after that. Help. Could it be my cat? And I just went over 80 k 2 weeks ago
I had the same issue. And I changed the battery, plugs, coils, cables, starter, cleaned MAF, air filter, etc... to no avail.
In the end it was low compression and a new engine, which is being replaced as we speak.
Save yourself some headaches and time and go straight for a compression test.
If it isnt that, at least you'll know and it'll be out of the way.

my symptoms are nothing like yours spicez it starts up perfect all the time unless it dies which rarely happens then takes forever to start its almost like it runs out of gas for a minute when it has plenty
That I had last year.
Sounds like a fuel pump.
When it dies, does it just keep going down in RPM even as you press the gas pedal?
Once it dies, the fuel pump cools down and after 15-20mins usually you can restart it.
Search for fuel pump failure on the forum, and try to diagnose it. If it is that, just replace it with a Walbro for 100-125$, its pretty easy.

You might also consider taking your fuel pump out and cleaning the sock in there. Depending how long its been since it was last done it could be filthy. If your at 80k miles on the original fuel pump you may as well just replace it and see if it helps, it certainly cant hurt.
Plus the water pump is leaking but it's minimal because the coolant level still above minimum. Could it be the cause?
Sorry for thread jacking..
