Well had my car for over a year and at 7800 miles my engine light start to go on dissappears and sometimes blinks when i was at high rpms today.i had my car 2 weeks ago at the dealer for the 7500 maintenece service,IT REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO START INSATALLING ALL MY GOODIES. racing beat intake, nitrous,pullies,coilover,4 rotors ,new pads ,high flow cat . and ric shaw ecu DAM i guess iam happy it did it now so i dont have to take this crap off later to go to the dealer.

 

Plugs.

 

DTC P0300, P0301 or P0302. Random misfire, front or rear rotor misfire.

They will say nothing. The blinking light stores no codes, I have had them about one in three track sessions so far this year and pulled codes immediately after every one. I managed to get a hard light after a lot of running in very cold weather last weekend and yes it was an 0301. It's a stretch, but the blinking seems to coincide with very cold weather or not-quite-warmed-up-enough condition of very hard driving. Maybe the maps are a bit too lean in the cold?

My experience is track only, never seen a CEL on the street.

from what the manager told me i had put gas a couple days ago and he said if they did not close the cap good. it will through a cel for a couple days .

 

A P0455/456 will not make the CEL flash..

Tell them to try again cause I ain't buyin it.

There a only a few issues that will make a CEL flash..mainly misfires and O2 sensor related codes...
