Engine Issues! Need HELP!

Hey Guys,

Im new to the site. I finally got my the front spoiler on the car and thanks for the help. My promblem now is one that I've had for sometime now but i haven't really had the time to deal with it with my busy work schedual till now. My problem is that under moderate to hard acceleration in anything lower than 4th at 7500 RPM's the car starts jump back and fourth. I have not tried it in 5th and 6th. I assumed it could be a fuel pump issue since the car does not die, it just studders back down then jumps up then down etc. you get the idea. Anyone else have any ideas or is the fuel pump, if so would it be covered under warranty. Car has just under 38000 originial miles on originial engine and tranny. Car is an 2004. I hope this isn't the start of an engine problem?

right away that sounds like the symptom of an engine replacement(i'm not kidding), get it to the dealer asap so they can check it out.

Right away I would think fuel pump too from past experiences with other cars, but thats not the case I believe here.

I too am stumped. I've read a lot about about the engine issues and i really don't feel like this is one. I may not have been clear. It's not so much the car, its as if the fuel supply is interupted bc, the car never falls below 7500RPM it's only when i try to take it over, if it happenend at different intervals i would lean toward engine issues but, I could be wrong. I duno, The dealer will get a call tomorrow. I was orginially going to wait until i go back to college since i prefer the mazda dealership there to the one where i live in the summer. Anyone else have any feed back to offer

Bad coils. Check the battery connection.

I don't think it's a motor mount.
