Engine and Cigarettle Lighter?
I have a 05 GT Rx-8 and the Engine light keeps coming up. Not the gas tank, I make sure I close it all the way no clicks. Also the cigarette lighter something is wrong. I bought a charger for my phone once it worked. Since I tried 7 chargers and nothing. Also the lighter itself won't light even if I push it in and hold it.

The only way to know, what is going on with the engine, is to get the error codes from the PCM.
There are two 12V accessory outlets in the car. One in the dash and one at the very back of the sliding arm rest. Once you slide the rest all the way open, it will flip up to reveal the second one. Try your chargers there also. I have chargers that won't work anymore. You can also look for a blown fuse. The location can be found in the owners manual.
