Down shift grind

Alright guys, problem is that in HIGH RPM's when i want to down shift from 3rd to 2nd gear I get a grind Now this is somethign that just started with my 8.

I searched and found out that I should Check/ change my tranny fluid ( which is a good idea because i bought the car w/ 23k miles on it even though its from the dealer you can never be to sure ) 2nd i found this Stainless steel clutch hose from RP , Basicly it talks about the problem i'm having right now, and that it takes care of the problem.

but when i do a slow down shift from 3rd to 2nd i sometimes grind but if i do a quick down shift i get a solid grind , This problem HAS to be fixed because i'm going to start tracking my car and down shifts are a MUST and i can not have this BS

If these two things dont work. I'm going to call the dealer and have them check it out..

So my friends, any other tips / ideas you might have on this subject

Sound like it maybe a bad syncro. Try double clutching and see if it still grinds. Also a good synthetic would probably help, but it's a bandaid if stuff is starting to grind already.

Got a clutch line from mazdatrix for 20 bucks-best money ever spent-also running Redline MTL 90. Not a problem with the tranny. Are you atleast attemping to rev match I hope? Not trying to be sound rude, but just checking the basics first

Yeah try the redline first in both trans. and diff. Should work, otherwise theres a problem. Just a question but what RPM's are you downshifting at.

Why not just let the engine spin up a bit; it sounds like you're grinding because the syncro is being hurried.

Wouldn't that be a warranty issue?
