Question Difficulty engaging reverse gear

Lately I have been having difficulty engaging reverse...I have the RP short shifter intalled...gears 1 thro 6 are fine...just reverse requires some extra work....clutch or shifter problem???....any ideas

just pop into 4th before u pop into reverse.

Short shifter will make it a bit harder to engage gears because you have less leverage. I second snipers advice if you're having trouble.

I find that if it doesn't go into reverse the first time, just pump the clutch once and it'll be fine.

Will try those suggestions...thanks guys. I do find that when I slowly release the clutch, if it is not precisely in reverse, it slips in thereafter...thankx once again for the help!
