need help, installed the defi oil pressure gauge when turn on the car the buzzard goes off and wont shut off. dont know the reason,could anyone help me out. ted

 

Maybe it needs to be programmed. You do have the link controller right?

 

I hate it when "buzzards" in my car don't shut off, too!

Yup, if it's the defi controller warning setpoint. Default is too high for RX8. Press "warning", the gauge led will blink fast. Press the "down" button to lower the warning limit to around 15 or 10.

 

yes i do have the link controller II, and adrian i'll try what you suggested on monday the car is in the shop and ill let you know if that worked. thanks, ted

 

ok my mechanic called me today and said he set the warning limit between 10 to 15 and it still buzzez and the pressure is working, i did notice something saturday he has the jumper on 4 cylinders when there is no tach installed on the control II unit could that be the problem. any ideas?
