Damage From Hks Hi-power
the other day when i was washing my car i thought...hey might as well clean my exhaust tip and polish it...well guess what. i didnt have enough time to put it back on...so i just drove to work and back and noticed that the exhaust guard was starting to melt...so for thoese who have the HKS Hi-power keep your titanium tip on even if youre running late.
HERES THE DAMAGE....

considering how far back it is without the tip, i expected this.
it's rare for someone to take it off and not put it back on before driving, though. heck, it's uncommon for most people to even take off the tip once the exhaust is installed. just a gist of bad luck for ya man. sorry to hear.
at least they're not expensive.

damn, that's shitty! (although the thread title is a bit misleading)
It should say, "WARNING: Always reinstall HKS hi-power tips or else...."
check with Mazmart to see if he's got any lying around or you could always order new shrouds, they're pretty cheap
