Cruise Control switch failure?
Hi,
Hoping someone can help me here. I removed my steering wheel (like a fool) when i pulled the wheel off, i broke the airbag, and horn connections. I also managed to pull the plug that connects to the clockspring.
I've ordered a new clockspring, as the wires that connect to the airbag connected to the clockspring.
Problem is now that my cruise control doesnt work. The On/Off switch doesnt even turn on. It has power going to it. It lights up when the lights are on. The audio controls work and the horn works.
My question is why would the audio controls work and the cruise switch not? If there is a SRS malfunction (which there obviously is now) would that prevent the cruise control from even turning on?
