Started driving my car to work this morning and heard something I haven't heard yet. When my clutch is pushed all the way in and im rolling at slow speeds, I start to hear a very audible cracking noise that is loud and constant to about every 1/3 of a second. at higher speeds when i clutch to change gears, for that little time its in, the cracks are less noticeable but much faster. I cant feel anything physical in my clutch foot or on the pedal for that matter, it is just very loud from the outside.

Hoping someone can help me out before this problem amplifies into something worse.

 

hmm... I was gonna say check your clutch pedal assembly since those are known to snap, but not too sure since you're saying the noise is coming from outside. I would THINK it's clutch related.
