Coolant Light Randomly Illuminates
I have a 2007 manual RX-8 with 50,000 miles on it. Since I bought the car with 45,000 miles on it I have been experiencing a problem with this light. When I am just cruising in fifth gear going between 40 and 50 mph, the coolant light will turn on. The light wont turn off until I hold down the clutch for a few seconds. Any ideas what could be causing this? I've checked the coolant and filled it but the problem still occurred.

This horse has been beaten to death. Use that little search button up at the top of the page. You will find numerous threads discussing the issue. The thread paimon.soror referenced is one of many! Mine lights up from time to time too.
