the owner offered it to me to make me happy and still buy cars from them....the 8 was the 3rd car i got from that dealer and they tried to screw me over on the agreement we had made....the numbers were totally different when i went into finance and they tried to tack on an extra year of financing on me.....i took the car home on a friday and went into finance on tuesday.....they also promised me things that they didnt deliver.....on my window sticker there were things on it that werent on the car......they didnt pay off my trade in until almost a month after i signed the contract and had my old financing put a 30 day ding on my credit (which i had them remove)....and now this with the service....although the service thing happened after all my sales and finance woes....i wrote a really nasty yet detailed letter to the owner and called him several times regarding the situation....so he offered me the money to keep going back for at least service until they can regain my faith in them.....but now my faith is going down the drain with my last service fiasco....im thinking on trading in my credit for some MS parts and going to another dealer any way

Sorry to hear about this bad experience, m82492. Please post in the BadMazdaDealerships thread in the GoodGuy/BadGuy forum, as Mazda watches that thread.

ahh........ You can't expect to get the car fixed just like that.

They ordered the part, installed it and the car still had a problem.

This can occur and happens alot.

N Flash. You don't need it per Mazda. 05's have the current flash.

Hey didn't you have an 04 Rx 8 ?

Be patient Obewan.

Please let us know what part they replaced and maybe we can get to the bottom of this..

Sadly some service dept's are still playing catch-up with this CAN protocal..

I wonder if they forgot to inhale the data prior to replacing the part?

They haven't looked at it yet. They replaced his A/C.

Looks like he will get a new tranny too!
