Cold weather and hesitating
Please tell me that this is fixed by the new flash...
I live in a warm climate (Louisiana) and I go to start my car after work today. It starts fine and when I take off and get to around 5k rpm, it hesitates to the point of almost cutting out. It does this in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We are having a cold snap and that means getting into the 30's F.
This is the first issue I have had since I have had the car...I have never had it flashed. I purchased in March of this year and the car was built in 'Oct 03.

the car has an electronically lowered/limited rpm redline when it is not at normal operating temperature. with your cold snap the most likely scenario is that it just hadnt reached that temp in the normal distance you are used to.

Hrm...did not know that. Thanks for the info.
However, I do seem to remember getting a letter about cold weather starting a few months ago. Should I get this taken care of if nothing else is wrong with the car?

hmm....after it warms up-the car should respond slightly better due to the colder denser air. I love cold spells when driving a boosted car--my Millenia S responds very well to the cold and so did my old FD.
