Clutch Pedal Squuk/creek??
I have about 27K on my 04 now, and the clutch pedal has started squeeking/creeking when I press and depress it. Having the car on or off doesnt change anything, the sound is still there. Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this before I take it in to the dealer?
Thanks
Sam

same here...
had the same prob, but mine is only 2 1/2 months old with 2400 miles on it. Went to the dealer and they replaced my clutch pedal, only now the freeplay seems to have increased and the friction point on my clutch feels earlier....??? It hasn't bugged me yet, but if it starts to, I think i'm going back to the dealer and complain about it.

I had the same noise on mine with about 500 miles on the car. They replaced the pedal assembly and it hasn't come back- 6700 miles now.

Hmm, thats good to know Hero. I might try the dealership on I10 and Wilcrest then. I am currently going to the one on 59 and Beltway 8. Will have to bring it in and see what they will do about my squeaky clutch.

Good god people SEARCH! There is another thread with the same title directly above this one! Let's try and keep it together...Also check your clutch pedal mounting bracket for a broken tack weld...

Wow, calm down. That thread is two years old. Kinda out dated. Plus we're also discussing about local dealerships in Houston and what not. That's why I try not to post anything here for almost three years on this board. People jumping on people.
