clutch pedal bracket install issue

hey guys..i just reinstalled my clutch pedal bracket after having it snap on me. everything went fine except for some reason the sensor button is not being fully engaged when depressed. this is causing me not to be able to start the car without disconnecting it from the mount and manually pushing it in.looks like when i press the pedal down that it may have another 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch to go so its not far.only thing is that i dont see anyway that this can be adjusted.nor do i know how it changed from when i removed it in the first place.its not on a floating bracket of any kind.thanks peps

It sounds like you ran into the same problem that I did. Just pull that plunger (I think the green one) out further. It will feel like it's stuck but just pull it out and you should be fine

I put a little vacuum cap with a steel ball from a bearing inside of it over the thing when it did it to me.

Yep and there's a well discussed specific thread about this. Pull the plunger looking thing, it may seem stuck because it's searated inside. Search for that thread, because I'm sure you will have questions about adjusting the clutch pedal's travel.

it didnt seem adjustable to me in anyway as you mentioned with the searated edge it looks like it only fits at one depth.i just put a short screw through the end of the plastic piece with a washer to make up for the extra travel distance..and no questions on clutch travel adjustment.easy install..just couldnt figure out why i had this issue.thanks for the input
