I have been having an issue the past 2 days with my clutch. It feels very rough when pressing down and will not always engage completely making it very difficult to start or shift, but not impossible. I have had a few clutches go out in my time and have even replaced a few and this does not feel like that at all, there is no slipping to the clutch once its engaged. I looked at the clutch pedal assembly and didnt really see anything wrong but I was wondering could this be the assembly going out and not the clutch?

2004, 104k, 35k on f1 racing stage 2 clutch (cheap crap I know)

 

It's not very hard to pull the clutch pedal assy and inspect it. I'd start there.

 

Difficult no, but I have very little extra time right now and wont really until after the holidays. Thats why I was just checking symptoms before I started anything to see if I need to based on other peoples personal experiences.
