Clutch/Gear issue

I just changed my clutch/flywheel and it has almost 400miles on it. It was getting into gears alright but earlier today it started getting hard to get into. When clutch was getting put in my mechanic bleed the clutch and it was alright. This is the second time he bleeded my clutch. Now, for some reason, it doesn't want to get into gear at all. Could it be my slave cylinder?(how much do those retail at auto parts) Theres enough fluid in the brake/clutch system. Also when I press in the clutch, it makes noises when i let the clutch out , like a clicking sound. Any suggestions on this issue would be helpful

thanks in advance

so you think that the clutch bracket could be causing it not to go into gears???

It was hard to shift on mine, especially when it would get cold, then it snapped. Take it off and get it welded before it brakes. Here is a DIY, should only be about $20 or free if you know someone or can do it yourself.

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-clutch-pedal-bracket-removal-fix-170387/

Take pictures of it just in case ny needs it, or record it when you push it in. Hope this helps you.

If you upgrade the clutch you really should reinforce the clutch pedal (by welding or bracket).
When releasing the clutch pedal, does your engagement point appear a lot closer to the floor?

i used to have a upgraded act clutch, and the first time it was on the floor, then i had to change my clutch, so i put in a exedy oem clutch after a day it wouldnt let me go in gears, so i thought the mechanic didnt do something good i took it back, and he told me he didnt bleed the clutch right and yesterday it happens again but every time i shift i hear the clutch pedal/bracket squeak and its kind of loose so im prettty sure right now that its the clutch bracket ....

Does this issue affect all RX8's or just certain years? ( I guess I could read the other thread, but it seems easier just to ask first.)
