Okay so if anyone ha this problem ive found the solution do to it just happening to me.
One night all of a sudden when i pushed the clutch down to start my 8 it didnt return and it went in rev rough. here is what will fix it.
1. there is an adjustment bolt going to the clutch master cylinder tighten that first if that not the answer. sry u need to get a new clutch mater cylinder which is about a hundo. and bleeding it is no fun be patient and it will all work out. your welcome in advance.

I think he is referring to the push rod from the clutch pedal to the master cylinder, as Jon316G stated, there must be clearance from the push rod to master cylinder, but I'd bet his clutch bracket has broken and he's using excessive hydraulic pressure to push the pedal up, which means the throw out bearing is engaged full time. I think !
