Mazda 2004 rx8build date aug 2003. milesage 34,000 give or take It has had a lot of issues read my other posts if interested. The latest problem is the check engine light going on and staying on not the red one. Car was taken in, kept for 2 days then in a few days same thing happened. Anyone having this problem. After all the updates this car is basically at 2005 but continues to let the driver down. Oh and the Windshield just cracked about 8 inches, when a tiny stone was tossed from another car. Thats really the only non mechanical issue the car has had and that really was just an accident but I think my SAABS glass would have faired better.The factory warranty is coming to an end and might want to start thinking of a trade or see a lawyer about lemon laws in PA. All problems have seemed to stem form the electrical/computer system. Anyone else with unresolved issues in this area.

in most states you windsheild must be replaced for free. check and see.. as far as the CEL, gascap?
