I have Rx8 2003 and it's imported from Japan. I just found that the centre console and display are dead. AC, heating controller and LED are also not working.
I've took my to the garage but they are also not sure it's problem with the penel or stereo. Anyone have any idea?
I've already checked all loose cables and fuses. Everything on centre console is not working except emergency light.
I'm live in Korea at the moment so I need get a part from overseas. If I change the centre penel (except stereo parts) does it going to work again?
Anyone has any idea? Please let me know if anyone knows a good place to buy parts with online for japan edition cars.

 

If the faceplate isn't working, obviously nothing else will work (unless the stereo was on or something, but even then I'm not sure.)

If you're sure that you checked all the fuses and connections, then you're looking at a new faceplate and stereo just to be on the safe side... chances are your climate controls are okay. Do you have automatic or manual controls?

In terms of where to buy parts in Asia..... ummm...

 

Auctually, I didn't used my car for almost 30 days and it won't work. Sometimes it works but if I don't use the car for few days, it won't work again. But all lights except center console is still work.
Do you think it's worth to replace a battery before?

 

yes, replace the battery
