CEL question

I just had a subwoofer and amp installed at a local, and reputible shop. After leaving, I noticed that the car seemed a bit sluggish, as though the torque band had changed somehow. Took the car onto the freeway and punched it to 9000 in first and second. Once cruising I noticed the CEL flashing - it lasted only a few seconds and did not come back on. After that the car actually seemed much better - acceleration felt back to normal (perhaps even a bit better). The CEL has not come back on.

Any ideas? Should I be worried?

I'm sure the audio shop wired the new amp through the ecu. This is why the cel light came on, it had to recognize the new settings. After that you probably ended up with about 10 more horse power. You shouldn't let the news get out too much though, everyone will be adding the audio amps to the cars.
