Ok I'm not the best at working on cars, but I'm determined to learn how to do most of the work if I can. Currently my car won't start. About a month ago, I stopped at a store on my way home. When I got back in the car the CEL was on but drove home fine. The next day I tried to start it...turns over no start. I assumed this was cold air related, Buffalo NY in Dec. I thought that maybe getting the fuel system flushed is the answer. After reading articles on here most of today, I realize that it could be a number of things. I'm prepared to replace, the plugs, wires, and coils as a start. I've read DIY articles on here on how to do these things but again, I'm not the one to typically do work on an auto. I plan on keeping this car though and have around 61k milage. For the previous couple of months I noticed the car sounds like it wants to stall while warming up, though it never did. I also plan on doing my 60k maintenance but would like to hold off til...1. I do the earlier stated work...2. Once it's reliably warmer since the 8 doesn't do well in the snow lol. What is the order of importance in troubleshooting why the car won't start? I've done the reset KVRAM and KAM to no avail. I put some gas and STP gas cleaner in. I've removed my air filter, and want to move on to the coils but am concerned about the lack of information, photos, videos, on how to remove the necessary things to fully access the coils. I love my car, someone please help me understand what I can do to get her back running.
