This is my first post as a member. Ive just browsed mostly and you guys have been great at helping with any problems I have had Thank you. Im having a problem that i cant seem to find the answer to. I have a code p0610 being thrown. I have a 2004 mazda rx8 gt. Originally the car wasnt throwing the p0610. It didnt start one morning and all symptoms led to a clogged cat. Sure enough when I removed the cat it was clogged so i put a turbo xs racepipe on. Then afterwards i tried starting it and it started but it was puffing smoke and wouldnt rev above 1k rpms. At that point it threw a p0301 code so i replaced all plugs wires and coils. The missfire code went away then it wouldnt start at all and now is throwing a p0610 code. I tried erasing the pcm with the brake peddle trick and it did erase the code until i tried to start it again when trying to start it it whines and the exhaust pops ... shooting flames at that point i thought it might not be the pcm causing it to not start and flooding so after deflooding the motor it still cranks and wont start. After all this im begining to believe its the ecu and i truly dont want to belive that as it costs 1500. Any insight at all would be appreciated. thank you again for any help
