Cel P0610
This is my first post as a member. Ive just browsed mostly and you guys have been great at helping with any problems I have had Thank you. Im having a problem that i cant seem to find the answer to. I have a code p0610 being thrown. I have a 2004 mazda rx8 gt. Originally the car wasnt throwing the p0610. It didnt start one morning and all symptoms led to a clogged cat. Sure enough when I removed the cat it was clogged so i put a turbo xs racepipe on. Then afterwards i tried starting it and it started but it was puffing smoke and wouldnt rev above 1k rpms. At that point it threw a p0301 code so i replaced all plugs wires and coils. The missfire code went away then it wouldnt start at all and now is throwing a p0610 code. I tried erasing the pcm with the brake peddle trick and it did erase the code until i tried to start it again when trying to start it it whines and the exhaust pops ... shooting flames at that point i thought it might not be the pcm causing it to not start and flooding so after deflooding the motor it still cranks and wont start.:banghead: After all this im begining to believe its the ecu and i truly dont want to belive that as it costs 1500. Any insight at all would be appreciated. thank you again for any help
