CEL high rpm
Can anyone give me an answer? I continually have a blinking CEL at high rpms, MAZDA swapped out my spark plugs, as well as coils, as well as battery, as well as got a new flash to N. Still blinking CEL at high rpm's. I have 41000 miles on mine.

It happened to me and was considered a mis-fire and some 3 way cat error

had all that stuff done, but it still throws the loght. Last code the dealer came up with was random misfire code, but dealers never really know why it is misfiring

Heck yea, I have 41000 miles on it, and drive about 80 miles a day. Sometimes more. That means my warranty should be done in 3 months. Already had clutch, and transmission replaced. ACT extreme works great, a little too stiff for most though. I want a new engine. You see the thread for some dealers calling customers to replace high mileage engines. I probably have the highest mileage!

I'm worried about my warranty running out too - I'll be at around 43,000 by the end of April.
Only thing I've noticed is my loaner 8 (11,000 miles/odo) feels a quite bit faster/more responsive

When the CEL came on at high RPMs for me, it meant the cat was destroyed. If the CEL is engine misfire, or similar the tech told me it's almost always because of a bad cat. (Especially if the plugs have already been replaced. Mine had been replaced less then a month earlier.)
