Went to start my car on Monday morning, got in the car, turned the key....and nothin. The keyless entry worked, the dash lights were all on, but when I turned the key nothing happened.

After searching the forum, checking the battery and some fuses, I eventually had it towed to the dealer. They said my "control modules weren't talking" and every time they used my key to try to start it, it would throw the modules back outta whack.

They said they had to reprogram the PCM and some other modules, along with making new, reprogrammed keys to get it running again.

I saw one other person on the forum say they had to have their PCM reprogrammed. Should I be worried about my control modules going forward? Or is this just a freak occurrence?

 

Mine did it for no reason...basically lost all the keys......had to re-program them
