So my car sat in the garage for about a week and forgot to disconnect the battery so it died. After jumping it, it started and I left it on for 10 minutes and it died. Tried jumping again but would not start. The dashboard light and headlight comes on but the door locks and lights inside and the radio does not work. The car does not make any noise at all. Could this be the battery? The starter? Spark plugs? as I have tried jumping numerous amounts of time.

 

Check and clean your connections they could be dirty and/or loose. After you get it running, have the battery charged and load tested, check the charging system too.

 

Once you have a good battery...try it again

It should start then....

Like ED Said.......then check you charging system to see if the alternator is working properly

Likely your battery has been crapping out for a while...and the week was just enough to push it over the edge

When you try to start it might have to try the de-flood procedure if you flooded it trying to start it with a crappy battery
